The Interfaith March for Human Rights and Peace is an annual public event held in Jerusalem, this year marking its 4th year.

The march focuses on the importance of human rights and the common prayer for peace, equality and reconciliation, while celebrating the city’s human and religious richness.

The march takes place on the eve of Jerusalem Day as a moral and spiritual response to the March of Flags, which is often accompanied by violence and exclusion of non-Jewish residents. In the face of this reality, we seek to present a different voice: the voice of faith committed to the dignity of man, created in the image of God, and of religions acting as forces of connection, responsibility and solidarity.

Jerusalem, the holy city of three religions, can be a symbol of hope. Precisely in times of suffering, war, and serious violations of human rights, we march and march together, religious, secular, and activists: Jews, Muslims, Christians, Druze, and others, to remind us that peace is a spiritual command, and that we all have a responsibility, especially religious leaders and religious communities, to promote it.

مسيرة الأديان من أجل حقوق الإنسان والسلام فعاليةٌ عامةٌ سنويةٌ تُقام في القدس، وتُحتفل هذا العام بنسختها الرابعة.

تُركز المسيرة على أهمية حقوق الإنسان والدعاء المشترك من أجل السلام والمساواة والمصالحة، مُحتفيةً في الوقت نفسه بثراء المدينة الإنساني والديني.

تُقام المسيرة عشية يوم القدس كردٍّ أخلاقيٍّ وروحيٍّ على مسيرة الأعلام، التي غالبًا ما تُصاحبها أعمال عنفٍ وإقصاءٍ للمقيمين غير اليهود. في مواجهة هذا الواقع، نسعى إلى تقديم صوتٍ مختلف: صوت الإيمان المُلتزم بكرامة الإنسان، المخلوق على صورة الله، وصوت الأديان التي تعمل كقوى للترابط والمسؤولية والتضامن.

القدس، المدينة المقدسة لثلاث ديانات، رمزٌ للأمل. في أوقات المعاناة والحرب والانتهاكات الجسيمة لحقوق الإنسان، نسير ونسير معاً، متدينين وعلمانيين ونشطاء: يهود ومسلمين ومسيحيين ودروز وغيرهم، لنذكر أنفسنا بأن السلام أمر روحي، وأن علينا جميعاً مسؤولية، وخاصة الزعماء الدينيين والجماعات الدينية، لتعزيزه.
